Authorities in BJP-ruled Maharashtra state have closed an 800-year-old mosque to Muslim worshippers, following a complaint by an RSS-affiliated Hindu group, reports said.
The mosque is located in Jalgaon, Maharashtra. The district collector suddenly issued an interim restraining order during the hearing of the complaint filed by the extremist outfit (Saturday), making the historic mosque in Jalgaon suddenly inaccessible to the Muslim community.
