According to some recent polls, support for Trudeau is decreasing for various reasons. The left-wing Liberals, who have been in power for nine consecutive years, are well behind the opposition Conservatives. Even if elections are held now, Trudeau’s party will lose power, according to polls.

The news agency Reuters reported this news in a report.

Justin Trudeau was asked at a press conference on Wednesday (September 13) based on such information from the survey, whether he would resign as party leader or not?

In response, Trudeau said, “The next election is two years away.” I am doing my work. A lot of important work still remains to be done.’ But he admits that there is dissatisfaction among the people about the cost of living.

The Liberal Party came to power in 2015 with the help of Trudeau. This ended more than a century of Conservative government rule. However, Trudeau’s popularity has declined due to various issues including inflation, rising cost of living.

In a poll in late August, 56 percent of Canadians said Trudeau should step down and let someone else lead the party. Only 27 percent of those polled voted for Trudeau.

In addition, 63 percent of the country’s people do not want to see Trudeau in the leadership of the Liberals, i.e. as the next Prime Minister of Canada, as a result of another poll.
