Bangladesh-Vietnam direct flight starting in Dec
VietJet Air is going to start direct flights from Bangladesh to Vietnam. Although initially, the operation started with chartered flights, it is planned to start regular flights in phases based on passenger demand.
Taslim Amin Shovan, director and chief executive officer of Inoglobe Travel and Tours Limited, Victoria Tour’s domestic partner company, gave this information in a ceremony at a hotel in the capital on Monday night.
This Vietnam airline will operate flights on the Hanoi-Dhaka-Hanoi route from mid-December. Apart from this, Vietnam’s tour operator company Victoria Tour has also announced various travel packages including visa processing at an affordable cost for Bangladeshi tourists.
“One has to make a stop at another country while going from Bangladesh to Vietnam, resulting in both high cost and time. Direct flights will be economical in all aspects. It will even serve as a bridge between the people of the two countries along with the expansion of trade between Bangladesh and Vietnam,” Taslim Amin Shovan said.
Victoria Tour Vietnam Managing Director Nong Van Chien Victor said that both Bangladesh and Vietnam have gone through a long struggle to achieve independence. By establishing direct communication by air, the relations between the people of the two friendly countries will be strengthened.
