On the other hand, US imports from China fell by 3.11 percent in 2022 compared to 2021, according to the statistics.

BGMEA president Farooq Hasan said that since the share of Bangladesh in the US garment import is only 9.75 percent, there is a great opportunity to increase this share further.

He also said that recently, Bangladesh has occupied the top position in the import of denim fabrics from the United States.
