Dauphin RCMP looking for suspect in arson

On October 25, 2022, at approximately 3:30 am, Dauphin RCMP responded to a reported break and enter at the Parkview Lodge on 2nd Avenue NE in Dauphin. Upon arrival, officers located a small fire in the building. The Dauphin Fire Department was called to attend to the fire while officers evacuated residents from the building.

With the assistance of the Dauphin Fire Department and the Office of the Fire Commissioner, the cause of the fire was determined to be arson. The fire was contained to a common use area of the building. There were no injuries reported and residents have returned to the building.

The suspect has been identified as 21-year-old Alexander KOSKI, of Dauphin, and a warrant for his arrest has been issued. KOSKI is being charged with Arson with Disregard for Human Life and Mischief over $5000.00. KOSKI is described as being 5’11”, 165 lbs with brown hair and brown eyes.
