Four earthquakes in 54 minutes in Nepal, shook Delhi-NCR including North India

In 54 minutes Nepal shook four times in a row. Tuesday 2.25 pm to 3 pm. Vibrations are felt four times out of 19. The magnitude of the quake was 6.2 on the Richter scale. The epicenter of the earthquake was 440 km northwest of Kathmandu at a depth of 5 km.

Several houses were reported damaged in Nepal. The epicenter of the strongest tremor was 206 km southeast of Joshimath in Uttarakhand, 284 km north of Lucknow, the National Center for Seismology said. The center was five meters deep from the ground. Several houses have collapsed in Nepal due to the earthquake.

Earthquake hit parts of Delhi’s neighboring state of Haryana on Sunday night. At 11:26 PM, tremors were felt. Its center was seven kilometers east, southeast of Rohtak. North Bengal was rocked by an earthquake on Monday. Tremors were felt in several areas of Cooch Behar and Malda. The epicenter of the earthquake was around Resubelpara in Meghalaya. The magnitude of the tremor was 5.2.
