High Commissioner’s tenure in Canada increased by 6 months

High Commissioner of Bangladesh in Canada. Khalilur Rahman’s tenure extended for another six months. The Ministry of Public Administration has issued a notification on Monday (August 21) appointing him to the same post for six months from October 31, in continuation of the previous contract and on the same terms.

He was appointed to Canada for a two-year term in October 2020. Later the contractual appointment was extended for one more year. Khalilur Rahman, an officer of the rank of Additional Secretary, was appointed as the High Commissioner of Canada on August 16 last year.
