A snowfall warning has been issued by Environment Canada for the north area of the Cape Breton Highlands and the counties of Inverness and Mabou.

According to the warning, snowfall totals of 20 to 30 centimeters were anticipated for Tuesday.

“Snow joined areas of strength for with winds will give unfortunate perceivability in blowing snow over uncovered regions,” Climate Canada said.
