PM asks Juba League to work to avoid possible famine

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has directed the leaders and activists of Juba League to work in grassroots level to avoid impact of global economic recession and possible famine.

The primer said this while addressing a rally of Juba League at Suhrawardy Udyan in the capital on Friday (November 11).

The Prime Minister said, Jubo League should be focused on the work of building the country. We have given vaccines free of cost to fight Corona. The country and the people should be served in the same way. I would request the youth society in this regard as the prices of all things have gone up due to Ukraine-Russia war, embargo, counter-embargo. We are facing problems to import products.

“I urge the youth folk that it is their duty to march the country ahead toward development and prosperity… the people of the country are now getting hope afresh to live a beautiful and dignified life due to the massive development carried out by the Awami League government. To take the efforts forward further, the youths are the most important stakeholders and they can build the country,” she said.
