The Saint-Léonard RCMP is seeking the public’s help following a theft of catalytic converter in Saint-André, N.B.

The theft is believed to have occurred on September 4, 2022, between 3 and 4 a.m., at a government building on Route 108. Police believe that one or more individuals arrived at the location in a side-by-side all-terrain vehicle, cut off the catalytic converter from a company truck parked outside the building, and fled the scene.

Police are releasing surveillance footage photos in hopes that a member of the public may recognize the side-by-side, or the individual in the photos.

Anyone with information on the theft, who was in the area on September 4, 2022, between 3 and 4 a.m. and witnessed suspicious activity, or who recognizes the individual in the photos, is asked to contact the Saint-Léonard RCMP at 506-473-3137. Information can also be provided anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), by downloading the secure P3 Mobile App, or by Secure Web Tips at www.crimenb.ca.
