RCMP seize drugs and money; four people arrested

The Elsipogtog RCMP arrested three women and a man, and seized significant quantities of drugs, drug paraphernalia and money as part of an ongoing drug investigation in the community.

On October 14, 2021, police executed a search warrant at a home in Elsipogtog First Nation as part of a drug trafficking investigation. Two 46-year-old females, a 67-year-old female and a 46-year-old male were arrested at the scene. During the search, police seized significant quantities of what is believed to be cocaine, drug paraphernalia and cash.

The four individuals were later released, and are scheduled to appear in Elsipogtog Provincial Court and Moncton Provincial Court at a later date.

The public plays an important role in helping to reduce, prevent and solve crime, including the trafficking of illegal drugs. Anyone with information about, or who suspects, illegal drug activity in their neighbourhood is asked to contact their local police.
