Saskatchewan RCMP Federal and Serious Organized Crime: illicit drugs seized, three charged after search warrant executed

On April 27, 2022, members of Saskatchewan RCMP’s Federal and Serious Organized Crime (FSOC) executed a search warrant on Shillington Crescent in Saskatoon as part of an investigation into an alleged breach of court conditions. Saskatoon Police Service assisted in the execution of this search warrant.

Officers located and seized:

  • 25.6 grams of fentanyl
  • 32.8 grams of methamphetamine
  • 4.2 grams of cocaine
  • a sum of Canadian currency, a weapon and drug trafficking paraphernalia

Three individuals were arrested at the residence.

Jenna Beamish of Saskatoon is charged with:

  • 2 counts, possession for the purpose of trafficking (fentanyl and methamphetamine), Section 5(2), Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
  • 1 count, possession of property obtained by crime less than $5,000, Section 354(1)(a), Criminal Code
  • 1 count, unauthorized possession of a firearm/prohibited weapon or restricted weapon, Section 91(3), Criminal Code
  • 1 count, fail to comply with release order condition, Section 145(5)(a), Criminal Code

Mandi Lee McTaggart of Saskatoon is charged with:

  • 2 counts, possession for the purpose of trafficking (fentanyl and methamphetamine), Section 5(2), Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
  • 1 count, possession of property obtained by crime less than $5,000, Section 354(1)(a), Criminal Code
  • 1 count, unauthorized possession of a firearm/prohibited weapon or restricted weapon, Section 91(3), Criminal Code
  • 1 count, fail to comply with release order condition, Section 145(5)(a), Criminal Code
  • 1 count, fail to comply with probation order, Section 733.1(1), Criminal Code

Dylan Bendall of Saskatoon is charged with:

  • 2 counts, possession for the purpose of trafficking (fentanyl and methamphetamine), Section 5(2), Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
  • 1 count, possession of property obtained by crime less than $5,000, Section 354(1)(a), Criminal Code
  • 1 count, unauthorized possession of a firearm/prohibited weapon or restricted weapon, Section 91(3), Criminal Code
  • 1 count, fail to comply with release order condition, Section 145(5)(a), Criminal Code

Beamish and McTaggart have been remanded into custody until their next appearance in Saskatoon Provincial Court on May 2, 2022. Bendall has been remanded into custody until his next appearance in Saskatoon Provincial Court on May 12, 2022.
