On June 27, 2022, at approximately 11:55 am, Swan River RCMP responded to a report of found human remains in Sapotaweyak Cree Nation.
With the assistance of RCMP Forensic Identification Services and an anthropology team, investigators are currently on site conducting a search of the area.
The identity of the remains is unknown at this time.
Swan River RCMP continue to investigate.
