Theft of two snowmobiles from a residence is under investigation by the Natuashish RCMP, with one recovered.

The Natuashish RCMP are looking into the early morning theft of two snowmobiles from inside a residential shed on Katshinak Street in Natuashish on March 31, 2023.
The thefts were caught on camera taking place between the hours of 3:00 am and 5:00 am. An unidentified man in a backpack entered the shed twice, left on the snow machines, and then returned to the property. The surveillance footage is being copied by the police.
On the night of April 2, 2023, one of the snowmobiles, a 2021 red and dark Campaign 900 Pro Super, was recuperated. On Rich Street, it was abandoned and parked behind the Natuashish Recreation Centre and Arena.
There is still no sign of a black Ski-Doo Expedition 900 Ace with the NL plate SMA759. Police have gotten data that this snowmobile may conceivably have been headed to Nain.
