Thompson RCMP investigate robbery and make arrests

The Thompson RCMP received a report of a robbery that had occurred the night before, around 11:00 p.m., in Thompson, at 1:00 p.m. on June 4, 2023.

A female grown-up was driving with a companion, when they halted and got a colleague. Shortly thereafter, the female acquaintance stole the vehicle after threatening the occupants with bear spray.

The vehicle was described by the officers, who then began patrols. Two people inside the vehicle were arrested without incident after it was found in Thompson.

A pursuit of the tenants and vehicle brought about the capture of solution pills, money and bear shower.
The 32-year-old Melissa Morris of Thompson has been charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle While Prohibited, Robbery with a Weapon, Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime x2, and Possession for Trafficking.

Both Possession of Property Obtained by Crime and Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking have been brought against 36-year-old Kyle Fiedler of Thompson.
