When Trudeau helps billionaires, it costs you

During the televised Leader’s Debate this evening, Jagmeet Singh called out Justin Trudeau for his record of voting to keep the Harper Conservatives in power and for helping Stephen Harper to pass $60 billion in corporate tax giveaways.
In 2009 Justin Trudeau personally voted to keep Stephen Harper in the Prime Minister’s office. That motion—and the budget that followed—led to $60 billion in tax giveaways that helped the super-rich get richer while the services Canadian families depend on were cut.
It’s not the last time Justin Trudeau would team up with the Conservatives to make life harder for working families.
He teamed up with O’Toole to vote against making medication more affordable.
He teamed up with O’Toole to vote against dental coverage for uninsured Canadians.
He teamed up with O’Toole to vote against making big corporations that profited from the pandemic pay their share.
